How to get your Sovrae card

A step‑by‑step guide, from opening the website to your first purchase. Follow the steps in order. After you choose your card, the guide splits: follow only the route for your card.

⚠️ Beware of scammers impersonating Sovrae admins In our Telegram group there are scammers who pretend to be admins and will try to message you privately. Remember these simple rules:
• Sovrae admins will never contact you first.
• Sovrae will never ask you to send money outside our app — not even to "fix" a bug or a problem with your account or card.
• Sovrae will never ask for your password or your private key.
Scammers are very clever and will invent anything to trick you: fake problems, urgent deadlines, refunds, "verifications", fake support pages. If someone writes to you privately claiming to be from Sovrae, it's a scam: don't reply, don't click their links and don't send anything. For real help, write to info@sovrae.io or ask publicly in our Telegram group. Be wary of private messages (DMs): never rush, always think twice.
Official Sovrae links These are our only official channels — anything else is not us:
• Website: sovrae.io
• App: app.sovrae.io
• Telegram: @sovrae_io
• X (Twitter): @sovrae_io
• Email: info@sovrae.io
What you need before you start A real email address you can access, a password you'll remember, and some USDT or USDC crypto (if you have other crypto, you can exchange it with Swap).
Were you given a physical card as a gift or in person? You don't need to buy anything: create your account (steps 1‑4) and then go straight to Physical card received.

Which card to choose

There are 2 cards. If you're not sure which one to get: do you only want to pay online or with your phone? Get the Virtual Privacy. Do you want a physical card and to withdraw cash at ATMs? Get the Physical Privacy.

When do the limits reset? Daily limits reset every day at 00:00 Singapore time, which is 16:00 UTC — in the UK that's 17:00 in summer (BST) and 16:00 in winter (GMT). ATM monthly limits reset on the 1st of every month.
⚠️ When you pay or withdraw: ALWAYS choose the LOCAL currency These are foreign cards, so at the POS (the shop's card terminal) or at the ATM you'll often be offered a currency conversion. It can appear in three ways:
  1. You're asked which currency to pay in: local currency or the card's currency (USD/SGD) → choose the local currency (e.g. EUR, GBP, CAD).
  2. You're asked to Accept or Decline the conversion → choose Decline.
  3. You're asked a question with Yes or No → choose No.
This is very important: if you accept the conversion, the shop's or ATM's bank applies its own exchange rate and you pay much higher fees.

Part 2 — Deposit your money

You pay for the card in cryptocurrency. First you put money into your wallet inside Sovrae, then you use that money to buy the card.

5

Go to Wallet → Deposit

  1. In the menu on the left, click Wallet.
  2. At the top, click the Deposit tab.
Wallet page with the Deposit tab highlighted
Wallet → Deposit. If you see a spinning wheel, wait a few seconds for the address to appear.
On your phone? The menu may be hidden: tap the icon with three lines (☰) at the top to open it.
6

Choose network and coin, then copy YOUR address

You can use USDT or USDC on BNB Chain and Ethereum, or USDT only on TRON:

Network on the websiteMay also appear asDo you need to pay gas?
BNB ChainBEP20 / BSC / BNB Smart ChainNo, the platform pays it
EthereumERC20 / ETHNo, the platform pays it
TRONTRC20 / TRX (USDT only)Yes, you also need to deposit some TRX
  1. Under NETWORK, choose the network (e.g. BNB Chain).
  2. Under TOKEN, choose USDT or USDC.
  3. YOUR DEPOSIT ADDRESS appears below: click the copy icon ⧉ on the right to copy it (or scan the QR code with your phone).
  4. Send your funds to this address, choosing the same coin and the same network.
Deposit on BNB Chain
BNB Chain (BEP20) example. The QR code and address are hidden: ALWAYS use the ones you see on YOUR account.
Deposit on Ethereum
Ethereum (ERC20) example
Deposit on TRON
TRON (TRC20) example. The TRON address starts with "T" and is different from the BNB/ETH one.
The most important rule in this whole guide The coin and the network must be identical on both sides. If you chose "USDT – BNB Chain" on the website, you must send USDT on the BEP20/BSC network.
Using USDT on TRON? As well as the USDT, you also need to send some TRX (TRON's own coin) to the same TRON address. It's used to pay the "gas", which is the cost of each transfer on the TRON network: each transfer costs about 13 TRX, so send a bit extra. On BNB Chain and Ethereum, the platform pays the gas and you don't need to do anything.
7

Wait for your money to arrive

After a few minutes, on the same page, you'll see your updated balance under Your balance. You can also check in the Activity tab.

Why is the Home still showing $0.00? The Total Balance on the Home page is the money on your cards, not in your wallet. Your deposit shows up only in the Wallet page.
How much should I deposit? At least the price of the card (you top up the card afterwards). Examples:
• Virtual Privacy: $89 (you top up later, minimum $10)
• Physical Privacy: $349 (you top up later, when the card arrives: minimum $20)
If you use USDT on TRON, also send some TRX for gas.

Part 3 — Buy the card

The purchase takes place in a window with numbered dots at the top: they show which screen you're on. The Virtual has 6 screens, the Physical cards have 7.

8

Home → New Card

Once your balance has arrived, click Home in the menu on the left and then the New Card box.

  3. Click Details (show details) to see the number, expiry date and CVV.

  • Phone: choose the country code and enter the number (see the box below)

Then click Save delivery address.

The ADDRESS must be perfect Country, city, street, house number, postcode and flat/apartment number must be completely correct and complete. If FedEx can't find the address, after 2‑3 failed delivery attempts the card is sent back.
Name and phone: how it works These details are used only by FedEx for delivery.
• Name: it doesn't have to be completely real. Many users have received their card by entering, for example, Home Owner or just their initials, like A. B.. It depends on how fussy the FedEx courier is.
• Phone: it can even be fake or not working, but bear in mind that if FedEx can't find you, they'll call that number.
Clicked "Skip for now" instead of entering the address? No problem: go to the Cards section and click the Pending delivery - add your address bar under the card. From there you can enter your delivery details whenever you like. Until you enter them, the card can't be shipped (unless you chose an InPost locker).

Don't want to give your address to FedEx? Use an anonymous InPost locker

If you prefer not to enter your details for FedEx, we can ship your card to an anonymous InPost locker (a parcel locker where you collect the card yourself). This is available in these countries:

Spain · Italy · France · Belgium · Luxembourg · Portugal · Poland · Netherlands (in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands the service is called Mondial Relay)

  1. Find the InPost locker where you want to collect the card and note its locker code.
  2. In the Delivery address form, in the Street Address field, instead of your street write Locker followed by the locker code: we'll understand that the card goes to that locker. In the other fields (city, postcode, phone…) you can enter made-up details.
  3. Or, if you prefer: click Skip for now (or enter made-up details such as abc abc abc 123 123) and contact us straight away on Telegram (@sovrae_io) or by email (info@sovrae.io) with the locker code, together with the email of your Sovrae account.
Writing to us instead? Do it immediately after payment Send us the locker code as soon as you've paid, so we can ship your card to the locker instead of by FedEx. Remember: you write to us, Sovrae never contacts you first.
📦 Tracking and locker PIN As soon as the card is shipped, you'll receive an email with the tracking number. On the day the card arrives at the locker, you'll receive the PIN code to open the locker and collect your card.

💱 Paying in a shop or withdrawing at an ATM? Always choose the local currency (or Decline / No). Why?

End of the "card received" route. Go to Check your spending.

Check your spending (Transactions)

In the menu on the left, click Transactions: here you'll find a summary of all your spending and activity.

Transactions page with the spending summary
Transactions section: the summary of all your spending

What each filter shows

Use the filters at the top to see one type of activity at a time:

Deposits filter: Deposit to Dynamic wallet
Deposits: the crypto that has arrived in your wallet
Top-ups filter with the Deposit Fee lines
Top-ups: how much reached the card and the top-up fee (Deposit Fee)
Why does the card get less than I moved? Because of the top-up fee. On the Virtual the top-up fee is 2%, on the Physical Privacy 1.5%: if you top up $100 on the Virtual, $98 reaches the card and $2 is the Deposit Fee. In the transaction list of the single card you'll see the same thing as Card Top-Up and Deposit Fee.
Purchases filter: cards bought
Purchases: the cards you've bought

Transactions for a single card

In Cards, under each card, you'll also find a more detailed list with the individual transactions for that card. Next to each transaction there's a label:

Card transaction list with Authorization and Settlement
In yellow: Authorization + Settlement for the same purchase
Seeing the same purchase twice? Don't worry If you see both Authorization and Settlement for the same shop with the same amount, it's not a double charge: they're the two stages of the same transaction. The amount is taken only once.

Refunds and reversals: when does the money come back?

The card accepts refunds. When you pay, the amount is first held on your card (Authorization) and then completed by the shop (Settlement). If you want your money back, or a payment failed but the money was taken, there are 3 possible situations. What makes the difference is whether the payment was settled or not.

1. Refund — the payment was settled
The shop has completed the payment. To get your money back, the shop has to issue the refund. Once the shop has issued it, contact us at info@sovrae.io or on Telegram (@sovrae_io) with your account email, a screenshot of the transaction and the shop's refund confirmation: we then submit it to our card provider, which checks and processes it. It can be quick if the shop handles it straight away, but in some cases it takes up to 30 days. You'll see it in green with the label Refund.

2. Reversal — the payment failed or was cancelled
The payment was authorised but never completed. If the shop marks it as failed or cancelled, the payment is reversed and the held money goes back to your card, usually very quickly, sometimes straight away. You'll see it in green with the label Reversal.

A reversal: "Reversal" label and the amount in green with a +

3. Not settled — the shop does nothing
The payment was authorised, but the shop neither completes it nor cancels it. The money stays on hold until the authorisation expires, then it goes back to your card automatically. This can take up to 30 days. This also shows up as a Reversal.

SituationWhat happensHow long
Payment settled, the shop refunds youRefundUp to 30 days
Payment not settled, failed or cancelled by the shopReversal: the money is releasedUsually very fast
Payment not settled, the shop does nothingReversal: the authorisation expires: the money is releasedUp to 30 days
Money not back yet? Contact us at info@sovrae.io or on Telegram (@sovrae_io) with your account email and a screenshot of the transaction and, if possible, the shop's proof or receipt of the refund, and we'll look into it for you.

💡 Better to keep the receipts of refunds and of failed payments (emails or screenshots from the shop): they're not required, but they help us a lot if you have to contact us.

ATM withdrawal fee (Management Fee)

When you withdraw cash at an ATM with your physical card, the extra 2% fee isn't added to the withdrawal: it appears as a separate transaction, usually right after the withdrawal, labelled Management Fee (or Card Fee) with the text "atm withdrawal, fee".

Example: you withdraw $200 → you'll see the $200 withdrawal and, separately, a Management Fee of $4.

Automatic top-up (Auto Top‑Up)

With Auto Top‑Up you no longer need to click "Top Up" every time: you choose a card and, every time you deposit USDT or USDC into your Sovrae wallet (as in steps 5‑7), the money is automatically loaded onto that card.

  1. In the menu on the left, click Settings and scroll down to the Auto Top‑Up box.
  2. Under Select a card, choose the card to top up automatically (your default card).
  3. Click Enable auto top-up and approve just once when asked.
  4. From then on, every deposit into your wallet goes straight onto the card you chose.
Auto Top-Up box in settings
Settings → Auto Top‑Up: choose the card and turn it on
Only works on BNB Chain and Ethereum Auto Top‑Up only works with USDT or USDC on BEP20 (BNB Chain) or ERC20 (Ethereum). It doesn't work with USDT on TRON (TRC20), because on TRON you pay the gas yourself: in that case you need to top up manually with the Top Up button.
"No eligible card yet"? It means you don't have a usable card yet: the card must be active and not frozen (not on Freeze).

Protect your account (recommended)

In the menu on the left, click Settings. In the Profile box you'll find two options we recommend turning on:

  1. Security → turn on Two-Factor Auth (two-step verification): as well as your password, you'll need a code to log in, so nobody can access your account even if they find out your password. You can also change your password here.
  2. Telegram → link your Telegram account: you'll receive verification codes for logging in, 3DS codes for online payments and alerts about your transactions on Telegram. It's quicker than waiting for an email.
Settings: Security and Telegram
Settings → Profile: Security (Two-Factor Auth) and Telegram

Your wallet (non-custodial)

The Sovrae wallet is non-custodial: the keys and the funds are yours. You'll find it under Wallet → Wallet tab.

Non-custodial wallet
Wallet → Wallet: your wallet. The "Settings" icon is at the bottom right

Export your private key

Because the wallet is yours, you can also export the private key and use it in another wallet: in the wallet box, click Settings (bottom right) and then Export Private Key. From there you can also set a wallet password (Set Password).

Account & Security with Export Private Key
Wallet Settings → Export Private Key
Your private key is like your house key Anyone who has your private key can take all your funds. Never give it to anyone, not even someone who says they're from customer support, and never paste it into websites you don't know. If you export it, keep it somewhere safe.
Where's my TRON balance? The wallet widget doesn't show the TRON network. You can see your TRON (TRC20) balance in Wallet → Deposit, by choosing the TRON network. If you need to send coins out on the TRON network: export the private key of your Ethereum wallet (Settings → Export Private Key, see above) and import it into TronLink: there you'll find your TRON balance and can send it.
"Delete My Account" in the wallet: it resets your addresses On the same screen there's the red text "Delete My Account". It does not delete your Sovrae account: it deletes the wallet and creates new deposit addresses, useful only if you want to refresh them. Before clicking it, export and save the private key of your current wallet (Export Private Key, see above): any funds left on the old addresses can only be recovered with that key. If you don't need new addresses, don't click it.

Deposited a different cryptocurrency? Use Swap

The Sovrae wallet accepts all cryptocurrencies. However, cards can only be bought and topped up with USDT or USDC on BNB Chain (BEP20), Ethereum (ERC20) or USDT on TRON (TRC20).

If you deposited a different coin (for example BTC, SOL, ETH, BNB…), you can exchange it directly in the wallet:

  1. In the menu on the left, click Wallet, then the Swap tab at the top.
  2. In the top section, choose the coin you have (under SWAP WITH, or under Others if you can't see it) and enter how much you want to exchange (the MAX button uses your whole balance).
  3. Under YOU RECEIVE, choose USDT on BSC (BNB Chain) or USDT on Ethereum.
  4. Check the route suggested to you and click Swap.
Wallet section, Swap tab
Wallet → Swap: choose the coin to exchange and receive USDT on BSC
Tip: always swap into USDT on BSC or Ethereum That way your money is ready straight away to buy or top up cards, and on these two networks the platform pays the gas (Auto Top‑Up works too).

Earn with the Referral Program

Invite your friends to Sovrae and earn a bonus in USDT every time someone in your network buys a card. In the left menu click Referral: there you'll find your personal referral code and link, plus your earnings.

Referral page with your code and link
Referral page: your code, your link and the "Share with Friends" button
All the details of the Referral Program Full program and earnings simulator on sovrae.io/sales

How it works

  1. Share your code (e.g. SOVRAE-123) or your link with the Share with Friends button.
  2. Your friends enter your code in the Referral code field when they sign up (step 2). Even easier: if they open your link, the Referral code field is filled in automatically.
  3. Every time someone in your network buys a card, you earn a one-time bonus.

Your network has 3 levels:

Bonus per card purchasedVirtual cardPhysical card
Level 1 (your direct referrals)$25$50
Level 2$10$25
Level 3$5$10

The bonus is paid once per card, when the payment is confirmed. Example: 10 friends buy a Virtual and 5 buy a Physical → 10 × $25 + 5 × $50 = $500.

Get paid

Your earnings build up in your Pending balance, at the bottom of the Referral page in the Payouts box. To withdraw them:

  1. Enter the Amount (USD) you want to withdraw.
  2. Choose the Payout network (e.g. BSC USDT).
  3. Click Request payout.
Payouts box with Request payout button
Payouts: choose amount and network, then "Request payout"

Rewards are paid in USDT, and the payments you've received appear under Received payments.

Got a large audience? Are you an influencer, a community leader, or do you run a group or a channel? We can create a special plan for you, with a customised referral link, exclusive promo codes for your followers and more rewards. Contact us at info@sovrae.io or on Telegram (@sovrae_io).
Play fair Referral payouts are issued at Sovrae's discretion: self-referrals, fake accounts or any fraudulent activity mean no payout. The program and its rewards may change at any time.

Common mistakes and questions

Does the card work online? Does it have 3DS?

Yes, the card works for online payments and has 3D Secure (3DS). When a website asks for 3DS verification, you'll receive the code by email, at the address you created your account with, or on Telegram if you've linked it: enter it on the payment page to confirm.

ATM withdrawal not working?
  1. Don't try again at the same ATM: switch to an ATM from a different bank.
  2. Check that you're within the withdrawal limits: $3,750 a day and $80,000 a month.
  3. If it still doesn't work, try again just after 00:00 Singapore time (16:00 UTC — in the UK that's 17:00 in summer (BST) and 16:00 in winter (GMT)). In the 1‑2 hours before midnight Singapore time, withdrawals can sometimes fail.

Don't keep trying over and over: read the warning about declined payments.

How do I change the PIN of my physical card?

In Cards, under your card, click Settings and then Reset PIN: choose your new PIN. Remember, the PIN always has 6 digits.

How many cards can I have?

You can have up to 5 physical cards and 5 virtual cards per account.

The POS or ATM asks me which currency to use. What do I choose?

Always choose the local currency, or Decline the conversion, or answer No. If you accept the conversion you pay much higher fees. See the box on currency conversion.

Problems with a top-up, or your wallet or cards not loading?

Sometimes a top-up may show an unexpected error, the wallet may not load or your cards may not appear. This is usually caused by the browser cache or by something that didn't load properly. Try this:

  1. Log out of your account and log in again.
  2. If that doesn't help, open the site in an incognito window (private browsing) and log in from there.
  3. Turn off any VPN and use a normal browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox): browsers with very aggressive protection or an isolation mode, such as DuckDuckGo, can block the wallet's scripts so it doesn't load.

If the problem is still there, contact us straight away at info@sovrae.io or on Telegram (@sovrae_io).

Can I receive the physical card at a parcel locker?

Yes, in Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Poland and the Netherlands we can ship your card to an anonymous InPost / Mondial Relay locker. In the delivery form, write Locker + the locker code in the Street Address field instead of your street (the other fields can be made up), or skip the address and send us the locker code straight away after paying. You'll get the tracking number by email and, when the card arrives, the PIN to open the locker. All the steps are here.

Can I freeze the card?

Yes. In Cards, under the card, click the Freeze button: the card is frozen and no payments will go through. Useful if you've lost it or want to avoid charges. To use it again, unfreeze it with the same button.

I've lost my card or it's been stolen: what do I do?

Act straight away:

  1. In Cards, under the card, click Freeze to freeze it: no more payments will go through.
  2. Contact support immediately at info@sovrae.io or on our official Telegram (@sovrae_io).
A payment failed but the money was taken, or I'm waiting for a refund: when do I get it back?

It depends on whether the payment was settled (completed by the shop):

All the details are here.

Can I dispute a transaction?

Yes, but always try to sort it out with the shop first (ask them for a refund): it's the quickest way. If that doesn't work, send an email to info@sovrae.io or a message on Telegram (@sovrae_io) with:

Each dispute costs $35, whatever the outcome, and takes up to 30–45 days.

Can I close the card or get back the balance left on it?

Yes, it can be done, but it may lead to the permanent closure of the card: it's a very complex, manual procedure and may take several days. We only do it in exceptional cases: money loaded onto the card is meant to be spent. To request it, contact us at info@sovrae.io or on our official Telegram (@sovrae_io).

Can I use Bitcoin, ETH, SOL or other coins?

Not directly: only USDT and USDC on BNB Chain (BEP20), Ethereum (ERC20) or TRON (TRC20). If you've deposited other coins, you can exchange them for USDT with Swap inside the wallet.

I forgot my password

On the Login screen, click Forgot password? and follow the instructions you receive by email.

The verification code doesn't arrive

Check Spam and Promotions, make sure you typed your email correctly, then use Resend after the countdown.

My phone number is rejected

The format is wrong. Use the international code with the +, and the right number of digits. Correct UK example: +44 7700 900123 (10 digits after +44, the first one is 7). Don't copy the example: make up your own number. Or the number has already been used: use a different one.

⚠️ Warning: avoid several declined payments in a row

The provider can CANCEL your card Don't make lots of failed payment attempts one after another (for example because your balance isn't enough or because the shop is blocked) without a single successful payment in between. If this happens, the card provider may cancel it.

• Before paying, check that you have enough balance on the card (amount + fees).
• If a payment is declined, don't try again over and over: first check your balance and that the shop isn't one of the unsupported ones.
• Subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, ChatGPT…): they take money automatically and, if your balance isn't enough, they retry several times on their own. Keep your card always topped up or turn on Auto Top‑Up, or remove the card from subscriptions you no longer use.
• If the provider does cancel the card, we'll be able to return the money left on it: the process is manual and takes a few days.
